The ID in EVID™ stands for innovative design of high-quality, foreground/background music systems. The EVID™ Series is comprised of 13 models. Four surface-mount speakers include the EVID 6.2, 4.2, 3.2, and the 12.1, a surface-mount subwoofer. The EVID 12.1p subwoofer completes the line, and is designed to augment the full-range model's low-frequency response.
Two new EVID™ InWall systems are now available. The EVID FM 4.2 and FM 6.2 provide consistent performance mounted in any room, and their sealed enclosures dramatically reduce adjacent-room sound leakage.
The EVID™ Series is comprised of six speakers, including the compact and powerful C4.2, the C8.2, the 8.2LP high-output models, the C8.2HC controlled-coverage, high-ceiling model, the C12.2 12-inch, high-performance system, and the C10.1 high-performance ceiling subwoofer.

EVID 6.2
EVID™ Series Twin Six-Inch Surface-Mount Speaker System
The EVID 6.2 is comprised of dual, six-inch, low-frequency drivers and a one-inch, Ti/waveguide. The 6.2 is perfect for applications that require exemplary audio and the capability to fill large spaces with sound. The flexible Strong-Arm-Mount™ (SAM™) system provides versatility to accommodate any installation challenge. EV's unique, six-inch, dual woofer design delivers crisp and clean program for the best listening experience regardless of the location. This system is great for larger areas that demand higher SPL levels. The EVID 6.2 delivers the outstanding, full-bass output required for shopping malls, stadiums, and airports. For smaller commercial applications, the EVID 4.2 and EVID 3.2 are also available.
EVID C8.2/C8.2LP
EVID™ Series Eight-Inch Two-Way Ceiling Speaker System
Never before has a ceiling speaker system delivered such a full-range punch. The EVID C8.2/C8.2LP, with its specially tuned enclosure, and eight-inch woofer, the speaker system provides amazing bass response. The one-inch waveguide-coupled tweeter give smooth controlled coverage out to 18 kHz. The C8.2/C8.2LP is perfect for flush-mount applications where demand for high-quality audio is desired. The EVID C8.2/C8.2LP features a four-point mounting system to help make installations fast and easy, and comes complete with mounting support, ring-and-tile rails. No additional accessories needed for most installations.
The model C8.2LP is identical to the C8.2, but in a low-profile backcan for tight installation spaces. The model C8.2HC is specifically designed for high-ceiling placement applications. For smaller rooms, the model C4.2 is also available.
EVID C12.2
High-Performance Ceiling Speaker System
The Electro-Voice ® EVID C12.2 loudspeaker system is a high-efficiency, two-way, ceiling loudspeaker package for high-SPL applications. The loudspeaker features the EVID 920-8B transducer, a 12-inch coaxial with high-power handling, and 100-dB sensitivity. The integrated, 64-watt transformer allows for use in 70-volt and 100-volt applications, and includes automatic saturation compensation. The C12.2's transformer tap selection is accessible via a convenient switch on the front baffle.
The C12.2's perforated grille is finished in semi-gloss, white, powder-coated enamel. The baffle and bezel are constructed from UL 94V-0 rated ABS. The rear enclosure is made from heavy-gauge steel, and has a durable black-powder coat that blends in when used in open-ceiling applications. The rear enclosure provides optimum internal volume for extended, low-frequency performance.
EVID C10.1
EVID™ Series Compact and Powerful Ceiling Subwoofer
The EVID C10.1 packs a large, 10-inch subwoofer in a tuned, high-performance enclosure to give amazing low-frequency performance down to 45 Hz. The C10.1 is one of the only quick-mount, ceiling, TRUE subwoofers available on the market. Flexible installation and powerful low-end performance make the C10.1 an ideal companion for any EVID™ model. It features a secure, four-point mounting system, which makes installations fast and easy. the C10.1 also comes complete with mounting support, ring-and-tile rails. No additional accessories are needed for most installations.
EVID FM 6.2
EVID™ Series InWall Speaker System
The EVID FM 6.2 provides high-power handling and outstanding audio performance in a fully sealed, in-wall speaker system package. It is perfect for installations in larger rooms and it features a six-inch woofer coupled with a six-inch passive radiator for extended bass response. A one-inch dome tweeter gives clean sound out to 20 kHz. The FM 6.2 is housed in a shallow, fully sealed enclosure for consistent audio quality and superior sound isolation from adjacent rooms. The smaller model FM 4.2 is also available.
EVID 12.1
EVID™ Series Premium Surface-Mount Subwoofer
The EVID 12.1 is an attractive and powerful subwoofer designed to augment and extend the low-frequency response of any full-range model. The 12.1 allows easy installation by incorporating dual-voice coils to manage both channels of a stereo pair. In addition, the unit can power up to four satellites with its four crossed-over audio outputs on the back panel. Use the EVID 12.1 subwoofer for extended bass performance in demanding installations. Powered 12.1p also available.
